Immanuel Preschool is a wonderful workplace with ample space for creativity and growth. We are pleased to announce that one of our staff members is going on maternity leave, and we need to fill this position. The role will be filled sometime in late June to early July. Currently, we do not know how long the position will last, but it will likely be for a year or possibly longer.

At our preschool, decisions are made quickly, and there are good opportunities to influence your daily work. The preschool started in 2007 and has 27 children divided into two departments with a total of five educators working here. You should have experience working in a preschool setting. You need to be flexible and adaptable as the departments work closely together and support each other. We appreciate creativity, positivity, and a sense of responsibility. You will have your own responsibilities for activities such as gatherings, crafts, and all other tasks that are part of a preschool teacher's duties.

The preschool has two departments - one for younger children (Lille Skutt) and one for older children (Bamse). We work a lot practically, creatively, and we want to incorporate music and dance/movement into our activities. Staff members have both departmental and joint planning at various times and hold staff meetings in the evenings once a month. Discovering and inventing for oneself is important, as is gaining tools to handle one's environment. We participate in NTA (Nature and Technology for All). We go on excursions regularly. The preschool has a Christian foundation where we aim to convey each child's unique value and how valuable each individual is for 'I am who I am.'
